Container for Pulpo, Oda for Pulpo

Sebastian Herkner

Oda: Oda is big. Oda is a reservoir of light. Oda is a huge floor lamp for the living room - next to your sofa or armchair. My aim was to create a volume or even balloon filled with light. The design is inspired by the amazing shots of water towers by German photographers Bernd and Hilla Becher. A simple and elegant metal structure balancing a tinted glass globe, mouth blown and available in three colors: opal, grey and amber.

Container: The Containers are made of silvered and tinted glass. You can use them like a vase or together with the lid like a vessel. This project is a result of the Glass is Tomorrow workshop 2012, and was picked up by Pulpo in 2013 for their new collection.
