3-PRING PRODUCT is a new D.I.Y. idea proposal that can allows the user to alter the usage of a product, or pursue a more customized usability by adding 3D-printed parts to readymade products.
Just like sampling techniques in the music industry which create new tracks by quoting tracks or sounds from the past, new products are created by combining original parts with those quoted from pre-existing, ready-made products. Treating a 3D printer like a musical instrument in this instance exponentially increases the prospects for this 'sampling'.
3D printer generation expands the possibilities of incubating a new level of customization, whether making joint parts for plastic products or readymade product parts of peculiar size.
From this perspective, the products in stores aren’t so much completed products, as semi-finished ones, reclaimable as material for new creation.
