Dialogue in the Dark Satoshi Hatakeyama, Rhizomatiks Research, and Anrealage create clothing that responds to space with the theme of “echo” through a dialogue on senses. A sense different from the eyes that receive light and recognize space. The experience of “seeing” the space is awaiting. In “echo”, the clothing itself emits a signal, and the distance is measured to recognize the space, and the response returns to us as vibration. This is a project to experience and ponder a space perception method that has never been felt before through “echo” where clothes themselves transmit and feel the distance to the space.

echo project

A project that pursues a new body organ that emits a signal, recognizes the distance from the space, and is born from the collaboration of Rhizomatiks Research and Unrearage, with Dialogue in the Dark as the project attendant. Develop “echo wear” centered on clothes and “echo band” worn on the palm. The exhibition started at the Yokohama Paratriennale 2017.
