In 2013, Vitra, the Swiss furniture maker working with top-class international designers and at the forefront of product development, came together with the paragon of Scandinavian Modern, interiors brand Artek, to form a group company. Here, signature pieces from both brands face off in a chess-like exhibition. “Designed for then, now and future” - unchanging from the past to the present, Vitra and Artek’s design lives on, and will undoubtedly lead to the design to come.
In September 2014, Vitra &Artek opened their joint office and showroom in Harajuku.
