Sponsored by Japan Patent Office

JAPAN-CHINA-KOREA
DESIGN FORUM 2015

ThemeStrong Design,
Beautiful Design
What are strong designs? What are beautiful designs? Which are those that provoke thought? Which are those that preserve values?
Designers from Japan, China and Korea, those with an adept understanding of the era in which we live, will speak about designs with the ability to produce a wide variety of values in the world, as well as addressing best practices for effectively utilizing design rights.

This time, in addition to lectures by internationally active Japanese, Chinese and Korean designers, a discussion will also be conducted between Patent Office officials and business officials from each country.
Intellectual property in design viewed from the position of those engaged in development practice, the importance design has in creating values of beauty in lifestyles, the necessity of creating a wholly unique impact as well as the gravity of giving serious consideration to the potential of designs will be discussed together with examples of case studies and rights. This forum fuses design and business with people’s lifestyles in the hopes of being the catalyst in the birth of a more strategic design business.
